The Polka-Dot Kitchen

Circle C Ranch is one of the most well-known neighborhoods in South Austin. It boasts large trees, beautiful homes, and close proximity to downtown Austin. Our clients had just purchased a home in Circle C and were dreaming of a kitchen renovation, and we were thrilled to make their dream a reality. Here’s how we transformed their outdated kitchen into a modern, sleek space using Kraftmaid cabinetry and Caesarstone quartz countertops.

Before the renovation, the kitchen had outdated cabinets and countertops, and lacked both storage and counter space. The layout was not functional, and it was clear that a complete renovation was necessary. Our team of experts got to work, creating a plan that would maximize storage and counter space while also incorporating modern design elements.

The clients knew that they wanted a clean, modern look, and Kraftmaid cabinetry was the perfect choice. The Dove White and Riverbed colors in a slab door style were selected to create a sleek and cohesive look. The Dove White cabinets were used for the surrounding cabinets and the Riverbed cabinets were used for the island, creating a beautiful contrast. The cabinets were also designed to include plenty of storage space, with features such as pull-out drawers, spice inserts, and pantry cabinets.

In addition to the beautiful cabinetry, the countertops were also updated with a stunning quartz material from Caesarstone in the color Cloudburst Concrete. The light gray tone complemented the white and riverbed cabinets perfectly, creating a cohesive look. To add some personality to the space, the clients chose a polka-dot backsplash in a black color. This fun and unique feature added a touch of whimsy to the modern design. To complete the look, the clients chose sleek edge pulls in a matte black finish from Hardware Resources.
The transformation was stunning, and the clients were overjoyed with the results. The once outdated space was now a modern and functional kitchen, perfect for cooking and entertaining. The polka-dot backsplash was a favorite feature, and the clients loved the unique touch it added to the space.
