Brian Goldfus, Owner

Hi, my name is Brian Goldfus, and I’ve called Las Vegas home for more than two decades. This is a city built on creativity, design, and reinvention, and I’m proud to bring that same spirit into the homes of my clients. At Cabinet IQ of Southern Las Vegas, we specialize in high-quality cabinets and countertops that combine modern design with everyday functionality. I was drawn to Cabinet IQ because of their commitment to turning every client’s vision into reality through innovative design systems that make the process seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. With a career spanning leadership roles in hospitality and other customer-focused industries, I know the importance of clear communication, attention to detail, and delivering true five-star service. Outside of work, I enjoy learning about business strategy, exploring innovative food trends, and staying active through regular workouts. These passions fuel my creativity and help me bring fresh ideas and energy into every project. Ed Bertlow
Lead Designer
With more than 40 years of design and construction experience, Ed has created thousands of custom spaces tailored to each client’s unique vision and needs. He encourages open collaboration, inviting clients to share their ideas and inspiration while guiding them through every step of the design process. By combining creativity, functionality, and practical expertise, Ed transforms concepts into beautiful, personalized spaces that reflect each client’s lifestyle, space, and budget. Outside of work, Ed enjoys traveling with his wife and discovering new destinations, cuisines, and experiences along the way. Closer to home, he loves exploring the vibrant Las Vegas dining scene and appreciating the city’s ever-evolving culinary culture. An avid golfer, Ed values the balance between an active lifestyle and quiet moments of relaxation. Whether on the golf course or unwinding with a glass of wine while taking in the beauty of the Las Vegas skyline and surrounding desert scenery, he embraces every opportunity to enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
Howard Lund
Kitchen Architect
Howard serves as Kitchen Architect at CIQ. He is an accomplished designer with 25+ years of experience specializing in interior architecture for high-specification projects with an emphasis on kitchens and bath. He is knowledgeable of and experienced with designing European and American cabinet styles. Additionally, he offers exceptional people and communication skills for our customers. Howard has a thorough understanding of the process necessary to execute successful projects of any size—concept to completion – and particularly in managing high-end residential projects.
Kenneth Smith
Designer
Kenneth Smith, IIDA Associate, is a new and upcoming kitchen designer that brings 5+ years of interior design to the team. As a graduate of Clary Sage College with Presidents Honors, his expertise in FF&E, Space Planning, Technical Drafting, Form and Function combined with his creative mind adds value and elegance to every project. Kenneth’s high level design solutions are complemented by his strengths in project management, client consultation, and quality assurance that will ensure and exceed expectations. His design process goes back to the fundamentals starting with a simple sketch, like an athlete training in the offseason, and through each phase the design gets polished like an Olympic finalist at the starting line. That mix of attention to detail and artistic expression helps him move through a successful project. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, watching sports, playing video games and designing shirts to refuel his creative process and create a great work/life balance.
